Why is everyone calling Samuel Wurzelbacher "Joe"?  Did he give anyone permission to call him by his psuedo-first name?  Quite the assumption everyone made.  He may be a plumber, but that doesn't mean he isn't educated, and that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a title.  I never heard a ,"mind if I call ya Joe?"  Palin would have been all over this one!

One of my friends in Hawaii owned a plumbing business in California, and he's brilliant.  He used to get on this site often, I need to call him and drag him back here.  He's also a veteran.  He's served for several years overseas.  I had conversations with him during the primaries while I was still pro-Obama.  He laughed at me.  He's a bleeding conservative.  He explained to me Obama would do nothing to better his situation, and he owned a very successful plumbing business, but moved on for personal reasons.  Plumbers deserve thier own National Holiday in my opinion.  As long as someone is willing to come and unclog the clogged, I will refer to them as Sire, Your Highness, Miracle Worker, and bow in the process.  God bless em.

Actually, I heard Joe the Plumber on the radio this morning. He is very well-spoken and seemed to feel that McCain might be a better choice for him, in case he DOES start to make over $250k. Seems like the distribution of wealth thing from Obama could be a deal breaker for him.
